John Holt, President and Chief Executive Officer

John Holt is a Director of NexBank Capital, Inc. and Chairman of the Board of NexBank SSB and serves as the President and CEO of both the Company and the Bank. In his capacity he establishes and executes the strategy of the Company and oversees the financial and operational performance.

Since Mr. Holt’s arrival in 2011, NexBank has grown to one of the largest banks headquartered and operating in Dallas, Texas, with assets of $5.3 billion.  Under his leadership and direction, the bank has achieved strong growth and performance, and expanded its commercial banking, mortgage banking and institutional services to meet the goals of its clients, which include institutional clients, financial institutions, large corporations, real estate investors, middle-market companies and small businesses.

Mr. Holt serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Bankers Association (TBA) with additional responsibilities as Chairman of the TBA’s Community Bankers Council and member of the Audit and Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Investment Committee. 

Mr. Holt is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking and he earned his BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. 

Matt Siekielski, Chief Operating Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NexBank Capital, Inc. and NexBank SSB, Matt Siekielski is responsible for the growth and management of the bank’s primary operating businesses that include commercial banking, mortgage banking, deposit operations and treasury management. Through these business lines, the company focuses on providing tailored lending and depository products to institutional clients nationally.

Mr. Siekielski is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the board of Impact Dallas Capital, a not-for-profit organization created to drive investment in Southern Dallas and produce positive, sustainable economic, social and environmental benefits for Southern Dallas residents. He also serves on the board of the Real Estate Council Community Fund, a community development financial institution that provides access to capital for real estate projects in low-income areas of Dallas County.

Mr. Siekielski holds an MBA in Accounting and MS in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Arlington, and received his BA in Business Administration from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

Craig Korbuly, Chief Financial Officer

As Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NexBank Capital, Inc. and NexBank SSB, Craig S. Korbuly oversees the financial management and information technology functions across the organization.  

Mr. Korbuly holds 30 years of accounting experience and has primarily served financial institutions, including commercial banks and bank holding companies, throughout his career. Previously, Mr. Korbuly was an Audit Principal with Payne & Smith LLC. Mr. Korbuly’s career also includes director and senior audit roles with McGladery & Pullen LLP, Fisk & Robinson P.C., and Bailey Vaught Robertson & Company.

Mr. Korbuly has been heavily involved in the industry and has served as the chairman of the Texas Society of CPA’s Financial Institution Committee and a member of the AICPA Peer Review Program. He earned his BBA in Accounting from Texas State University.

Dierk Hohman, General Counsel

Dierk Hohman serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of NexBank Capital, Inc. and NexBank SSB.  He oversees the strategic direction of all legal, risk management and compliance functions including litigation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal support for the banking, corporate finance, capital raising, debt issuance and lending activities for NexBank Capital, Inc. and NexBank SSB.

Mr. Hohman has extensive experience in financial services litigation, regulatory and compliance matters and has advised major commercial and investment banks as well as leading financial services firms and corporations on complex corporate and finance transactions.  Prior to joining NexBank, Mr. Hohman served as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Nationstar Mortgage LLC.  He has held positions with leading financial services companies, banks, and law firms throughout his career.

Mr. Hohman received a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA and JD from the University of Florida. 

Rhett Miller, Chief Credit Officer

Rhett Miller serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of NexBank Capital, Inc. and NexBank SSB. His career spans over 35 years with a primary focus in credit and risk management, corporate finance, and commercial real estate acquisition and development. He is responsible for leading and managing all credit-related activities within the bank, including underwriting, credit approval, loan administration and loan policies.

Mr. Miller has held a number of executive and strategic planning roles during his career and has years of experience in business development and the management of special assets. Most recently, he held the role of Senior Vice President and Manager of Special Assets with Southwest Securities, FSB. Prior to this, he was a Principal at MMA Realty Capital.

Mr. Miller holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and a BS in Finance from Florida State University.

Craig Campbell, Senior Managing Director

SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR, NEXBANK CAPITAL ADVISORS

Mr. Campbell is the Senior Managing Director of NexBank Capital Advisors and the President of NexBank Securities, Inc. He is the Head of Investment Banking and oversees the group’s M&A, corporate finance, and business advisory activities as well as its broker dealer operations. Mr. Campbell has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has extensive knowledge of the capital markets, as well as mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory services.  He has completed numerous transactions across a wide range of industries including financial services; consumer and retail; and technology, media and telecom.

Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Campbell previously served for over a decade as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group at FBR Capital Markets, focusing on financial services and advising on capital raising and mergers and acquisitions nationally. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Associate covering the Consumer and Gaming industries at CIBC World Markets, and an Associate covering the Technology, Media and Telecom industries at Wedbush Morgan Securities. In his early career, Mr. Campbell held consultant roles with Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Campbell is a Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 FINRA-registered representative. He received his BS in finance from the University of Southern California.
