January 26, 2006: Dallas, TX: NexBank, SSB, celebrated the grand opening of its Galleria location with a fun-filled evening, enjoyed by over 350 customers and guests.

“We are extremely pleased with the turnout this evening,” said Davis Deadman, NexBank’s president and CEO. “Our customers represent a new generation of professionals, executives and business owners in the Dallas area, as you can tell by the people who are here tonight.“

NexBank is headquartered on the 22nd floor of the NexBank Building, Galleria II Tower. The branch location is on the first floor of the building, easily accessible with curbside parking. An ATM is located in the lobby of the building, providing after-hours access to services. The focal point of the branch is a unique backlit sign that extends across nearly the entire width of the branch, and that is replicated on the lobby ATM. “If anyone wonders where we’re located, one glance will dispel the doubt,” Deadman laughs.

The grand opening featured entertainment by the Mars Hill Band, one of Dallas’ leading “high-energy party bands.” In addition, a $5,000 cash drawing was held for one lucky winner. With free-flowing conversation and refreshments, the party extended past its scheduled ending, a sure sign that people were having fun. “We’re already thinking about next year’s open house,” said Deadman, “though this year will be hard to beat.”

The open house is just the first of several special activities the bank has planned this year. A gift certificate program for new customers will launch next month, followed by other events to be announced later this spring.

NexBank, SSB, is headquartered in the NexBank Building, Galleria II Tower, Dallas. Originally founded in 1934, the bank was purchased in 2004 by a group of Dallas-based investors who have refocused the bank to become a next generation leader in the financial services industry.
