Mike Rossi, CPA

Beyond serving as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for NexBank, Mike Rossi is also Chief Financial Officer of the bank's holding company, NexBank Capital, Inc. As CFO, Mr. Rossi monitors the financial strength of the bank, coordinates financial reporting, manages the company's tax liability, raises capital, and coordinates all merger & acquisition activities. Mr. Rossi also manages the deposits, human resource and information technology departments.

Mr. Rossi has deep experience as an entrepreneur. He previously owned and operated a mortgage firm, Legacy Lending Group, LLC. He also owned and operated Texadelphia of Dallas, Inc., where he raised over $1 million of private equity to fund the opening of four profitable restaurant units in the Dallas area. Mr. Rossi began his career as a senior accountant at Arthur Andersen, LLP, where he consulted multinational corporations on international tax structuring.

Mr. Rossi holds both a BBA and MPA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

John Ory

As Senior Vice President for NexBank, John Ory supervises the Private Bank, Agency Services, Marketing, and Retail departments. He has served NexBank customers since 2002.

Retail banking has dominated Mr. Ory's career. He has experience serving as Branch President and Personal Banker as well as a Commercial Lender, SBA Lender and Consumer Lender.

Mr. Ory holds a BBA in Marketing from East Texas State University and MBA from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He is currently completing his coursework at the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking held by the Cox School of Business at SMU.

Spencer Houston

Mr. Houston has the responsibility of directing NexBank’s Risk Management Program . As such he is accountable for regulatory compliance, loan review and internal audit. Prior to joining the Bank in late 2004, he served as Vice President of the Credit Administration Group at North Dallas Bank & Trust Co. for 9 years. Mr. Houston has 20 years of tenure in the independent banking arena beginning his banking career in 1986 with Colorado Bank & Trust Co. and, subsequently, First National Bank of Bryan, Texas. He received a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, College Station in 1992 and is a 2002 graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Wes Barnes

Wes Barnes has worked in the financial services industry for nearly a decade. He has been a top producer with such well-known companies as Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America. He currently serves NexBank as Vice President and manages the Private Banking and Residential Mortgage Platform.

Within his diverse background, Mr. Barnes has extensive experience in retail banking, private client services, insurance planning, business lending, mortgage lending and sales management. In 2005, as a Senior Client Manager with Bank of America, he was the top producing client manager in credit for the entire Midwest Region (nine state area) and was recognized for finishing in the top percentile in overall production in 2004 and 2005.

Mr. Barnes is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and is currently completing course work for his Certified Financial Planner designation.

Vicount P. Cornwall

Vicount Cornwall is the Senior Credit Officer of NexBank, SSB. He has over 10 years of corporate and investment banking experience, including five years in the energy industry, financing midstream, pipeline, power generation and utility companies.

Prior to joining NexBank in 2006, Mr. Cornwall was an Associate Director with West LB Investment Banking-North America serving in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical division. Mr. Cornwall also spent three years in the Bank One general corporate and Leveraged Finance groups, where he analyzed and structured highly leveraged transactions. He began his banking career in New York by completing the comprehensive Citibank credit-training program and addressing assignments in Citicorp's Capital Markets and Syndications groups.

Mr. Cornwall holds an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a BSES in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University.
